A question for Jet Fans

First off im a die hard redskins fan, but am a huge fan of Curtis Martin and many others on that team.

Now, do you think the jets are better off since the Keyshawn trade?
I think worse off, because even his "get me the damn ball" act as bad as it was, was not the distraction it was made out to be. Plus keyshawn caught the ball over the middle and in traffic, and he blocked his ass off every play.

yes they are for the simple fact that they are able to spread the ball around more with the west coast offense.im a big keyshawn fan, but he out warmed his welcome!

I'm a Giants fan...but there are a few Aggies on the team so I follow them. I think they play more as a team now then they did when Keyshawn was there, and like Earth said, they spread the ball around alot more.

I think i was good and bad move by both... Keyshawn never really realize how good he had it on the jets.. He has a star running back, who opens up the game for him.. and great second reciever in Chrebet, who took a lot of the over the middle passes and an above average QB in Vinny.. He leaves for money and goes to a team with a shit QB and running game that is famous for its fullback and not its main running back... He thought he was so good and untouchable but then realized what he was missing after a season with Tampa.. at the sametime the jets still have not gotten wide reciever the calaber of Keyshawn.. Now the jets are a whole team and not a 1 man show.. It was a bad move by the jets and a worse move by Keyshawn.. but hey how bout that Chad Mortan... woooooooooooooooooo

The Jets were better with Keyshawn, but not with his new contract. If Keyshawn is on the team now, Mawae and Curtis are probably gone because of salary cap reasons. You can't afford to pay a reciever that doesn't stretch the field that much money. He has had alot of catches since ha left, but not alot of touchdowns. If Tampa could cut his salary, they would.

Chrebet had a great game that nite.. it was a monday nite game... the best part about that win was KJ talking shit during the week saying comparing wayne chrebet to KJ is like comparing 1 flash light to the sun... and after chrebet caught that pass from martin he just held up 1 finger(and no, not the middle finger) that was fucking priceless........
