I have rap and alternative music on my computer that i'd like to share. However, you guys are against the rap and no one has replied to my e-mails.

What's wrong with rap? Isn't there anyone else who likes eminem or jayz? Anyone? Comment?

My fav. type of music is rap, but i don't even think Eminem and Jay-z qualify as rap, they're more pop IMO.

I think the problem w/ the anti-rap thought process is that people are just basing it on the crap they play on MTV everyday, but you can't judge all rap on that "yo yo yo, i be rockin mad ice, yo" stuff that they do play on MTV. Before ruling out all rap, listen to some lesser known stuff, for example:

Cage - 54 (cage is some white guy thats basically deranged & perverted, he even has a song w/ a nice Olsen twin reference, but i forget the name of it.)

Outlawz - Black Rain (Black Rain as in bad luck which everyone has at times)

Keith Murray - High as Hell (a nice getting high song for those of you that like to do that stuff)

The Roots - Never Do What They Do (The Roots are a group that usually do their own instrumental rather than having a computer do it for em).

*theres a lot of other stuff that can be recommended, but those are just a few non-mtv every day commercial rap songs that you guys MIGHT like.
