first of all, that is my favorite book...second of all, i totally agree. i only hope i would be as courageous as he and the other passengers were....we will always remember...

Amen. All of those people on flight 93 were amazing. True American heroes. According to cell calls and cockpit tapes, some boiled water and threw it at hijackers, some threw plates and silverware, some just used brute strength in an attempt to overcome their attackers. They did not fail. Their actions saved the lives of God knows how many other people on the ground, and inspired many of us to hope to be able to do the same if we are ever in that terrible situation.

When the terroists borke in the cockpit, the pilots switched on the open mic to the air traffic control center in Cleveland, where the people there said that they unfortunately "heard the pilots die"...
