Anything is better then last years...my drunking dick of a friend was lighting off a mourter when the thing tipped over and like a fuckin cannon it hit me 5 feet away square in the ballies. not only did it feel like a donkey just kicked me in the nuts, but my shorts caught on fire as well. Man a blast to the crotch and burning pubes sure kills your high.

AND....I hope it's better then the 4th about 8 years ago (I was 17). I dont know if any of you have gone to Flushing Meadow Park (where they used to have the world fair). Anyway I worked for this guy who ran the boat rental and hot-dog stand (yeah yeah it was a summer job), well this guy had a big 4th of July party and I invited all my friends at the time to come. Free food, free beer, free fireworks, we're going. So me, my friends, and a few CO workers get all drunk and decide to have boat firework fights. The boats could only hold 2 people at a time and you have to peddle for them to move. So anyway, me and one of my CO workers are in the same boat and we're firing off 12 oz. rockets at my friends in their boats, while a couple others decided to stay on shore and hurl m80's into the water "nearby." Well, anyway a friggin 12oz. rocket comes firing at me, bounces off my chest and lands in my bag of fireworks where it decides to explode. So does everyother firework in the fuckin bag causing me and my CO worker to as well ignite into a flaming human fireball. Now if you ever had the fortune of visiting flushing meadow park you would know that the water is 1 level better then sewage, But it felt a lot better then having my hair on fire.

Pantera, I feel your pain. I've had firecrackers blow up in my hand, but never any serious burns or anything. I have been to Flushing Meadow Park, my grandfather built the globe there at the world's fair ground stuff and a bunch of other stuff. He was a welder. Fourth of July for me will be just the usual, a family barbecue & probably drinking.

Babychanel, I live 5 minutes from Long Beach, actually I hope to be moving there sometime in the next couple weeks (if this F'n Landlord accepts my buddies dog)

Anyway... what bars do you plan on hitting while you are there?

I have spent plenty of nights trashed in that town... and have ended on the beach passed out with a face full of sand a couple time too.

I don't know if I am going to be in Long beach, I doubt it, I usually end up going to visit family or something like that.
