Why was Toonami shrunk?

Big O, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Batman, Superman, Reboot and Ronin Warriors were all taken off of the air so Cartoon Network can show the same episodes of Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab 7 times a day instead of 5?

Toonami is getting restructured for 2 more Gundam Series, Dragon Ball, and the other shows will rotate till September.

The original gunadam wing (or whichever gundam that was considered THE BEST by gundam fans) will be on toonami this fall.

New episodes of DBZ, as well as the original Dragonball series (with goku as a kid) will come on this fall as well.

And besides, it's summer! Who in their right minds puts on a successful show in the middle of summer when viewers are out having fun.

My advice is that you stay outside until september and when you come back in, all your favorite shows will be back.

I am aware that Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 are coming to Toonami (hopefully not at the same time as they are tied together kind of like the Tenchi shows). I do not know about the original Dragonball show though. Those episodes have been out for a very long time on video and could have been shown on Cartoon Network at any time. There is going to be a Justice League of America show (don't know if that is going to be this fall or next fall).

F.Y.I: It appears the Tenchi shows have been dumped too. That leaves Cardcaptors (Why is this even on the Cartoon Network?) and Dragonball Z.
