I'm sorry, but Al Molinaro IS Murray on "The Odd Couple".
It's Arnolds place, case closed.
And since when does an Asian sell to a white guy?

Thanks to Toddevf for sig pic
Arnold was great but Al wasn't bad either.
And if there was no Al, there would have been no Father DelVecchio (his brother) to marry Joanie and Chachi.
But it was cool when Arnold came back in the last seaon of the show.

I liked it when neither of them was on the show. When they would do a lot of outside scenes. Waitresses on roller skates.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

You obviously weren't at the take-out joint with me tonight when I got the Pork Fried rice.

The Chinaman is not the issue here.
Actually, the Chinese take-out place by me is owned by an 5 ft nothin' Italian guy with blonde hair.
And to answer the main question. Arnold is clearly the better choice. For a 50's generation, it was funnier to have an Asian guy running the local drive-in. And the fried chicken stand to boot.

And the fried chicken stand to boot.
Everyone knows that Happy Days "jumped the shark" when they introduced that Chicken Stand.

I thought (by definition) it was when Fonzie actually jumped the shark when the gang went to Hollywood. I just saw those episodes last week on TVLand. What fond memories.
I'm pretty sure they came afterward but we can't forget the classic Pinky and Leather Tuscadero episodes as well as those with the Malachi Brothers.

I liked the Oriental guy, whoever that was.
I can't watch that show anymore. It gives me the Douche Chills.

Al is a scumbag. You're telling me that when they had the plans drawn up to rebuild Arnold's after the fire, they couldn't find a place for Fonzie's office other than the bathroom?
Or did Fonzie just like that "smell"?

"Please guys, try the fish." There were a number of episodes when Al and Arnold were seen together, weren't there?
"In war there is no substitute for victory."
-General Douglas MacArthur
"If gold should rust, what will iron do?"
-Geoffrey Chaucer
