Well, i must be a dork too then. I never did Tournements, but i played heavily up to the portal set. It doesn't make you less of a person. Your still who you are. People who judge are cold hearted people. but not all cold hearted people judge.

I do play Magic. I love Magic. Up until a month or so ago I owned a gaming store. I play consistently, I go to tournaments, I go to pre-releases, I play online, I have the complete Oracle rulebook downloaded. I also have an active social life, a beautiful, non-gamer woman, and I shower regularly. You figure it out.

Anyway, I had a RED-Blue deck back a few years ago. I bought all 4 dual lands I was allowed. I had smoe quick 1 mana creatures to put out quick, and of course the direct camage of RED. But the counter spell was GOD in blue! Maze of Ith ruled, and Strip Mine was one of my favorite lands too.

Nothing wrong with Magic. Anyone who calls you names for playing a game is a FUCKING ASSHOLE anyway. Ask him what totally HIP AND COOL stuff he's involved with.

Its been so long for me. . . but how about we do a RONFEZ.NET MAGIC Tournament?

I've been itching to find a reason to play again, with my new deck, because my ultimate deck was stolen.

It had 2 cards if i put one them down and had like 10 in my graveyard, the match was over and i would win.

I'd be up for playin', but my deck is gone. It was left in my buddy's basement room, and it flooded, so the cards went in the trash.

And I'm not about to start collecting again. Too much shit to gather up again, and too many expantions to learn about.

I got out even before that Flanking shit was in play.

I had the greatest goblin deck in all of Ulster county! ;) (which isn't saying much) I used to finish pretty high in tournaments too up there.

Strip Mine was one of my favorite lands too.

My favoite was Mishra's factory, 2/2 creature, no casting cost, can attack on the second turn...

lol, I remember some of my shortest games, swamp, ritual, Hypnotic Specter, opponent gives up....

and I tried a sealed deck tournament once, I had such a headache when It was over, I had never seen such a blatant disregard for personal hygene in my life....

I got out shortly after that, and when I saw <I>foil</I> magic cards on display at the local comic store years later, I was glad I did....

I played from end of beta/beginning of unlimited through artifacts, then dumped all my cards except two skeletons and two Wyluli Wolves.

I used to play with friends and at a store in Albany.
