There was a BIG push for this "language" a few years back, and it's being spoken on MTV and BET, but what happened to this trying to become a REAL language?
I had heard that actual school courses were going to be made up, but then it kinda died.
Now I don't MISS it, but I do like to use it every now and then in a totally joking way.
The language was bullshit. But pretty funny! Where did it go? Any fond memories of Ebonix?

Ebonics was formally introduced to the U.S in the early ninties with the Grand Puba Sprite ad campaign. "Drink Spright aiiiight....obey your thirst"
This was the funniest interpretation: Regular Person "I have already taken care of the chores for today" Ebonics Retard: "I been done that"

It just always seemed like an excuse for poor language performance skills in public schools. Hey, if we can't teach em to speak correctly, let's learn how to speak incorrectly...that way our children's grade averages will go up and they can "gets" into college. Ridiculous.
