Does anyone still make model cars?

I'll admit it, I still make model cars, I'm not sure if it's some kind of nostalgia thing but i've found it nice lately to sit down and listen to R&F and (when they were on) O&A and do a model car, kind of a relaxation thing, anyone else still do 'em? And if so what kind do you prefer, and do you know where I can score a model of a late 80's Mercedes G-Wagen?

It sounds like a fine past time, but no.

I never really started. I got a kit ONCE, and it looked like a FUCKING CAR WRECK.

So I built a little model Jaws of LIfe and model Crash Victim to put in it.

I made a few F-15 models with my son. Glue and paint were everywhere! It most certainly didn't look as graceful or areodynamically sound as the picture on the box would lead one to believe.

I still do!! I make model cars, airplanes, trucks, motorcycles, just about anything! It's my #1 hobby! my favorite kits to work with are MONOGRAM. Sorry rude, don't know where you can find the Mercedes, but any other questions, I could probably help. Been doing it for years and I love it.

It was always about the glue. And I really preferred airplanes, unless it was the Munsters Car or something.

HECKLER - Do you know they won't sell model glue to minors anymore!!! When I was a kid that was one of the easiest ways of getting high. I guess now, realizing the danger of glue sniffing, the model stores, encourage the kids to shoot some morphine up instead.

I dont make model cars so much as I make model ships still. Although my lil project right now is the Saturn V rocket, got it from the Smithsonian back in April
