It SUCKED! The fucking games say that like 1 in 4000 people MIGHT be affected by flashing lights and shit in Video Games, and I was!

I saw a blind spot in the middle of my vision, that would pulsate with all the colors of the spectrum. Colors kinda of washed over the affected area in constant waves. It would slowly spread over most of my vision over the course of about 10 minutes, and slowly work itself out to the outer areas of my vision, until it was gone. 5 mintues later, I had a SPLITTING HEADACHE!

At the doctor's office, my doc said it sounded like my video game playing was responsible, so I had to cut down, and take those breaks they talk about.

Fucking SCARED ME! Because in the middle of it, I'm almost completely blind. So during that time, I'm just sitting there scared I'm gonna stay like that. Thankfully, it only happened like a dozen times total, and hasn't come back since.

Anyone else ever get shit like this from games?

I never got it but it did happen to a friend of mine once in an arcade. He was playing a game for close to two hours when he let out a moan, eyes rolled back and then fell, smashing his head into another vidoe game. He was ok in about a half hour, but we were both freaked for a while afterwards.
Im just glad I didn't have to shove my wallet in his mouth.

It happened to me about 6 years ago. I was playing some Sega football game all night and when I tried to go to sleep my mind freaked out. I was seeing stars and my mind was racing with like a thousand thoughts a minute. I could not sleep all night. It was pretty scary.

I forget the game, but it was definately football.

7 hits of ecstasy will provide the same effect if you can't find the game.

My old guitar player had that happen at the end of a gig. He fell onto the floor after screaming (for the song) and didn't get up for a minute or two. His vision was messed up for awhile. Doctors thought it was the flashing lights in the club.

If it's happened a few times, you might be prone to epiliptic fits and you're doctor should have you get your head scanned. Well, Moe you sound like you need to get your head scanned anyway. But that's the way we like you!

I have epilepsy and am an avid gamer. I've never had any seizures from computer or video games.

However, those with epilepsy are advised to stay away from the site "Killer Japanese Seizure Robots."

Oh, so THIS is the Horde King I get, huh?

Seizures suck. And to tell you the truth, I'mnot sure of the exact game I was playing a lot at that time, but I was a BIG Madden 92' fan for the Genesis. Maybe it was that game......
