Robin Williams - the pyscho

Robin Williams have been playing these unsuspected friendly yet crazy pysho path characters lately (death to smoochy , Insomnia , One Hour Photo)

I just watched One Hour Photo last night and thought it was a really good movie and Robin Willaims actaully played the character well. Im sure everyone use to him either being the friendly cross dresser , or the 44 year old kid - but I was so into One Hour Photo those characters completly left my mind. I havnt seen Death To Smoochy yet but I heard it was really funny. And Im going to see Insomnia tomorrow. I want everyone's take whether they like the crazy Robin Williams more , or the family type Robin Williams?

i like the crazy williams, it reminds me of the old (and much funnier) bits he used to do for his comedy shows. it was like he was always on a bad acid trip

Well i want crazy robin if hes gonna act good. In One Hour Photo he was excellent. Maybe not nececarilly crazy robin just more seriuos williams. I'd like him to do great movies that he has oscar chances in rather than funny happy movies like Patch Adams and Mrs. Doubtfire.

I thought his acting in "Dead Poets Society" and "Good Will Hunting" were the best things he's done. However I heard he was quite good in "Insomnia" (never saw it) and "One Hour Photo".

I'll have to check it out.

I guess I'm partial to his "non-comedic" roles.

One hour Photo was great. I saw it yesterday afternoon in a packed theater on SI. All I have to say is serious Robin Williams = much more gooder than funny Robin Williams. I'm never getting my photos developed again. I'm glad I have a digital camera now.

Mrs Doubtfire was suppose to be funny and at the end they got to be with their dad. I wouldn't say thats a sad ending.
