I consider myself "up to date" on all things musical.
Will someone please tell me what is the deal with him?
I write this because so many of you claimed to be witness to his genius, and I missed this one.

Serious answers only please or I will have to start using words like lame, stupid and inane to describe his stage appearance. The camera avoided him in favor of the NIN/MM looking guy.

Or I might have to comment on the fact that Waxl surrounds himself with such a freak show as to take away attention from HIS fat, botox injected ass.

His name is a mystery. He's played with a lot of West Coast rock/funk/hip-hop projects like Ozomatli and the "Deep Concentration" series. I'm not talking crappy-ass nu-metal, but true fusions between guitar work and turntablism. He is incredibly talented with the guitar, but in a really cold, technical sort of way...different type of guitarist than Slash, so it's not really apropro to call one better than the other. Personally, I think picking up he and Tommy Stinson were the best possible decisions Axl could have made if he wasn't going to scrap the band...

yeah, he's fat because he put on 20 pounds. A really thin guy who puts on 20 or so pounds wouldn't really qualify as fat. Fez..now that's fat. <P>
