Those were some great days, hearing some GnR's, or Metalica! Remember that?

<marquee>There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man. </marquee>

Classic rock sucks. Go fucking listen to the graveyard of rock Q104.

There is nothing great about that radio format.

THE ONLY THING IT DOES IS ROB UP AND COMING BANDS OF AIRTIME!

FUCK CLASSIC ROCK AND ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS IT!

odd, i was just thinking about this yesterday for no good reason at all...

so, yes, i do remember. k rock played classic rock and wnew played classic rock with a little more modern twist to it. and q104.3 changed formats from country to alternative (or whatever you want to call it). then at some point, k rock went alt, q104 went classic, wnew went a little alt and then to talk... i still like 92.7, though, when i'm not listening to wnew, of course...

I used to bounce between KROCK and WNEW. Thats how I found O&A. I caught them the second day they were on the air. I've tuned in ever since.

Meg Ryan = Beautiful and talented actress.

Meg Griffin = Beautiful and talented D.J.

I remeber when WNEW used to advertise on TV. They had 1 ad with a fat guy standing in front of a wall w/ a boom box dancing to the "classic" rock. Then they had some ad in the 80's that was Miami Vice style. I just remember Mark McKewen dressed like Don Johnson and driving a Vette.

I don't like pits, pits, pits, in my juice, juice, juice!

I remember when Carol Miller
was on air, and they played rock,
it didn't have to be labeled as
classic or modern. It was just
whatever that dj was into. The
rotation wasn't that tight 16
songs both Krock and The Q are
locked into now.

RON & FEZ RULE!!!

I remember WNEW before
infinity acquired it. NEW was great. the DJS could play pretty much what they wanted and they mixed it up pretty good. Very rarely did you hear the same song repeated and they would go deep into the albums

you have two choices: Castration or a one way ticket to New York
