This happened like 2 weeks ago, I keep forgetting to post it though. Anyway I was listening to radio chick (I know it sux, but so do the alternatives) and someone called in as Iris doing the same voice and all. They knew the bit wasn't theirs (as soon as Chuck heard it he groaned "Oh, boy") but they went with it anyway. If you're gonna suck, at least be original about it.

She wasn't that bad back in her NEW days, but I really only listened for Chuck.

Chuck Nice is very funny. and the Chick isn't so bad when you consider the alternatives.
Like D and M I can only enjoy her show in small doses. Let's face it. NY radio sucks bigtime, and if I'm driving to
an apointment and want to listen to the radio, well it's a toss up between her and Stern. Usually one of them is being mildly interesting. I was up in the Boonies of Canada a few weeks ago and picked up some really wacked out stuff there. But in area's like that where the listening audience is 2 drunks, 3 cows and a moose, I guess the stations can afford to let the talent be talented without worrying about the commercial requirement to be boring to insure high ratings. Getting back on topic--Iris is one of my favorite bits, and could only help the chick.

Funny, I stopped listening to the Chick because of Chuck Nice. He's horrible.

Oh I get it now. Kinda wish I didn't though.

I don't fault anyone for listening to her show. The new guy on NEW is boring, Howard is old and out of touch, and Chuck Nice is pretty funny.

when has the chick ever been original? her best bet is to go with funny Ron and Fez like bits. i have to agree with pennington. chuck nice is horrible. as far as that show goes, i've never heard so much laughter going on in one place amongst three people when there's nothing actually funny being said. <P>
