I bought into it. I was actually excited for Kane's return. Vince had done a good job of creating anticipation and desire. The explosions out of nowhere, the fire, the voice overs had me sold. I was ready for the 'lost son' to return. What a badass he would be! I mean, he's walked through fire to get here, he's on a mission, he knows what he must do. Then he came out against the Un-Americans. "Alright", I said to myself. "Not my first choice of opponent for him, but he comes in, kicks some ass, cleans house, and he's the man. It's a good start." He did all of these things, and then he did the unthinkable. A Kane-arooni. A FUCKING KANE-AROONI!?!? What the fuck were they thinking?!? How are we supposed to believe this is the baddest man on the planet, supernaturally strong and mean, when he's breakdancin' badly in the middle of the fucking ring?!?! They took a pefectly good angle, and turned it inot the biggest, freshest, hottest pile of steaming TURDCRAP (yes that's turdcrap) I've ever seen. Unbelievable. An don't even ask me about his ring attire.

Except for the ring attire (I like it better than the previous stuff , but still not as much as the one long sleeved outfit) I agree with you 100 percent. They are making Kane into happy friendly fan favorite , and it's just not cut out for him. Undertaker and Kane are best as the heel's.

Kane was acting silly when the injury took him out of the show. He cut that great promo with the Rock and the Hulkster which was hilarious! So the kane-a-rooni was not a big surprise. I kinda saw that coming from the moment he ran in to attack the Unamericans.

His new mask being very similar to the Hurricane's, it interferes with his hair. Kane had that very cool look with the hair over his face, and he could get a massive reaction with just flipping his hair back. Few people sold rage and anger like Kane, I give the guy credit.

Oh, and I like the new music. The same, but a little bit different...it works.

probably the only time i liked kane was when he first entered the wwf and had the "impervious to pain" gimmick. He was just destroying everyone and even had a good match at survivor series 97 where he destroyed Mankind.

After his match with undertaker at WM14 where it took 3 tombstone to beat kane, he was pretty much watered down by the wwf and was losing after receiving one tombstone by UT and was affected by chairshots, etc.

It was a horrible turn for Kane... he should have stayed as a heel with the great promos they set up and now, he's no better than TBS, the Big Show.

Kane should be dark and angry and he should take out his anger on anyone in the ring. This whole thig with the silly Kane and the Kane a roonie is going to be a big waste of time and effort. He can't pull it off beievably and the novelty will wear off quicker than right now. If they want to make Kane more likeable then they should make him a defender of the innocent. Have him bitch about no one coming to rescue him when he was a child and now he is there to protect the innocent and punish the evil. Have him start with Eric Bishschoff and the Island Boys. If they work it right Kane could begin a righteous reign of blood and fire and still be a face without sacrificing the core of the character which is the whole Frankenstein motif. The fragile tortured soul in a body built for destruction. That's my opinion anyway.
