Re-Enventing Classics

I've been playing Mario Sunshine for the last day almost without stopping. I can't tell you how much i love this game, its definetly the best Next Gen game i've played and without a doubt one of the best i've played in years. But something seems to be missing, I miss the Mushroom Kingdom and all of its inhabitents. The only way i can explain this is by comparing it to Majora's Mask. That was an incredible game by any standards and one of the best ever, but once again something was missing there. Taking Link out of Hyrule and all the other places was a mistake. Many people think that Majora's Mask was better than Ocarina of Time and you have every right to think that but i have to disagree. I have seen many discussion other places about Mario Sunshine and the new zelda about Nintendo's evolution of the games. The game showed at SpaceWorld of the GameCube Zelda certainly looked better than the cel shaded one. Once again i'm not saying that that game won't be incredible. I've got it reserved and have all intentions of picking it up the first day its out. All I'm trying to say is that is it right for Shigeru Myimato to think he has to push a new look for a game or in Mario's case a new water pack and new setting. I bet all real Nintendo fans would agree that putting Mario back in the Mushroom kingdom with new worlds and ideas in better than seding him off to vacation and giving him new devices and settings. Does Shigeru feel that he has to do this or is it his choice to do it. Does he think that people will get bored of the same old look and design for CLASSIC games. If you ask me I'd say that these games (Mario and I'm ABSOLUTELY SURE ZELDA) will absolutely be some of the best ever, but all i can think of is waiting another six years for the TRUE sucessor to Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time.
