I'll agree with you about the Showstopper. It was great to see the Heartbreak Kid in the ring doin' what he does. I got goosebumps when i finally heard, "Oh SHAWN!!!" coming out to the ring again.
However, HHH is still that damn good.

Yeah Shawn did amaze me. However as much as i say about HHH he is in no way a sissy. Look back at some of those matches will Cactus Jack, he did some crazy stuff.

Shawn Michaels put on a selling clinic? How do you figure? Sure, Michaels sold the hits when they came in, but beyond that? No way! Triple H did all the selling in that match, and made Michaels look great. As that match wore on, Triple H limped more, showed pain and exhaustion that was more and more pronounced. Michaels was looking like he was out for a pleasant stroll that night. He didn't sell much at all. As usual, matches involving Michaels are only about him, not putting over the other wrestler unless he feels like it. Triple H can out looking like nothing, because Michaels couldn't bother selling how hard the match was. By extension, by making Triple H appear to be a minor opponent, Michaels makes the entire roster look weak, given the battles they have had with Triple H. On top of this, Michaels now gets to sit out and avoid any possibility of having to job to anyone else. I'm sure he'll pop up again, and probably fail to put over another opponent by easily defeating them.

Hogan sells better than this, and he's far more over than Michaels could hope to be.

The whole point is that in compared to Shawn Michaels Triple H is still a snot nosed brat who is ENTIRELY overrated. And Shawn Michaels is STILL the showstoppa, STILL the Main Event, and STILL the man. I've a question: What southern inbread idiot came up with the term "Cereberal Assassin" and thought that it fit Triple H. Triple H is a bully, and he plays the part well, but he aint no wrestler and he aint no cereberal assassin. What an overdose of ego gratification for Triple H.
