Law and Order: Which one is your favorite?

For some reason, I've lately been watching this show all the time. Does anyone else like it too, and which one is your favorite? I think they're about 4 of them now.

"SVU" is pretty watchable.

But cop shows stink. Nothing, NOTHING can ever top "Homicide". That show, except for the last season, was TV at its best and most brilliant.

I am in Law and Order Hell. Don't get me wrong i love the show in all it's forms. But the reruns on A&E are killing me...I've seen them all and my g/f insists on watching them.......she pretends not to know which episode it is even though i recgonize every one just from the opening scene........ <P>
She can also watch the same movie fifty times which drives me insane. <P> <P>

on new years day one year i watched 12 straight hours of law and order(it was a marathon), after i had just gotten home from a nine hour shift at work...that was intense...

Best lawyer team: Jill Hennessy and Sam Waterston
Best Detectives: Jerry Orbach and the white guy who plays mr. big on sex and the city

The original series is the best. "SVU" is overall pretty decent, although flawed (WAY too much focus on Chris Meloni & Mariska Hargitay). "Criminal Intent" blows. Both of the leads (Donofrio & the other chick) are just not likeable. I should be cheering them on in their efforts to solve the crime - instead they just annoy me. I haven't watched the reality show yet.

I do believe that L&O is one of the best TV shows ever made. I'm a junkie; I watch it pretty much everyday, and I've seen the reruns on A&E (and to a lesser extent, TNT) dozens of times.

I love the show, although I've seen most of thre episodes a few times.

Best teams:
- Jerry Orbach as Lennie
- Chris Noth as Mike Logan

With Dann Florek as Capt. Donald "We still haven't proven anything!" Cragen.

- Michael Moriarty as Ben Stone & anyone. Stone is the hard-nosed idealist that Sam Waterston could never be.

And of course, Steven "Oh my prostate" Hill as DA Adam Schiff

Law and Order: Criminal Intent is okey, but that guy detective can be annoying. It's like he's super-detective, able to mentally analyze and dissect any human being's mind. It can get a little frustrating. NO one is that smart.

I *love* SVU, but don't care for the other two so much. Meloni/Hargitay are a great team. And come on, Ice-T?? Who could beat that?!?

I love the original and SVU. The one with Vincent D'inofrio is so-so.

The thing I hate about the show tho-- if you miss the first five minutes, you're completely lost for the rest of the show.
