After the cameras stopped, with about half the crowd chanting ''Rocky Sucks!'' (don't know how that came off during the live telecast, but it went from about 10 percent of the arena to 50 percent by the time the show ended), The Rock grabbed the mic, but couldn't get through. ''Finally, The Rock Has Come Back To Long Island," opting to end it with, ''It doesn't matter where The Rock has come back to!'' and ''Like it or not, I am still leaving here your People's Champion!'' By the time The Rock finally left the ring, pretty much everyone was either chanting ''Rocky Sucks!,'' ''Asshole!'' or ''Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey hey, goodbye!'

the point is how Austin went in heel and Hart went in Face. And by the end of the match, everything was reversed. Austin was face and Hart was Heel.

I'm not really sure that the fans were booing because they HATE The Rock, im thinking they were booing because Brock is a MONSTER and i dont see how any fan wouldnt want him to beat The Rock. <P>
And considering that The Rock isnt coming back until ATLEAST early 2003, just about every last fan who boo'ed the Rock last night will pop for him when his music hits and he returns. <P>
So no one should expect the Rock to return a heel or even Brock Lesnar to be a face or anything. But what say do I have in the final decision, everyone tune it tonight! <P>

i agree. I don't think it was that they were so much cheering for Lesnar. I think they just really hate Rocky. Especially in New York. So he could have been wrestling almost anyone and they would've cheered for the opponent. Except maybe X-Pac. I was at the Shotgun Saturday night show when soneone debuted the "Die Rocky Die" sign.

Hopefully more fans feel this way and when Rock returns from his 7 MOTHER FUCKING MONTH MOVIE MAKING (WHICH WILL FUCKING SUCK) THE FANS WILL BE PISSED. HES THE ONLY COCKSUCKER THAT CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS. NEXT TIME MAYBE THE FANS WON'T AGREE WITH ANOTHER 1 MONTH TITLE REIN BEFORE ANOTHER MOVIE.
