Soul Caliber 2. Even though many are saying that its much like the same, is that a bad thing? The graphics were CLERARLY ahead of its time and even with little improvement are still great by todays standards. And comin first to the CUBE.

Tekken 4
Tekken Tag Tournement
Soul Caliber 2

tekken tag isn't new, but still one of my favorites. I haven't seen Mortal Kombat 5 yet. But those other games i listed kicked ass.

SC2 is top of my list. Awesome game on the PSX. Best game on the DC. Been on my must buy list since it was announced.

wow ressurection!

well now i can say:

MK5-eh, the different fighting styles are pretty k0ol, but its not the game i thought it would be

Tekken 4-Excellent! the gameplay is nice, but perfect with an arcade pad. the combos are immense and the graphics are beautiful

SC2-i havent played on a console yet, but the arcade version is AMAZING!!! crazy combos that just destroy enemies if done right, and a great torney mode and ranking.

VF4-still debating, i have to play it more. the gameplay is truly unique, so the controls and moves take a lot to get used to. once i can play better and really open up the game, i can give a better opinion.

Marvel vs Capcpm 2 has been out for a while but just recently came out for PS2. It totally rocks. I have such a MvC2 addiction right now. Fast paced 3 person tag team style fighting. 56 characters. It rocks.

Out of the games you listed I only have Virtua Fighter 4. Yes it does take getting use to, but once you found your solid character like in any fighting game, its golden. I plan on renting Deadly Alliance soon to bring me back to Mortal Kombat days.

yeah the VF4 fighting system is very complex. after playing all of the others it is a totally different experience. i havent gotten it on a console yet but i do log in some time in the arcades and get my ass beat. i'm learning more and more about it though.
