I have a lava lamp on one of the coffe tables in my house and sometimes i just sit there and stare at it for a while. Very fun things to look at.

i love my hippie / funky lights.. i have a black lava lamp w/ black lava. only i fell into my dresser in a drunken stupor, knocking it over and breaking it. i also have this fiber-optic light that lights up flowers in different colors. very pretty. i also have, what i call, my blender light.
my favorite lamp is this tall, cylendar lamp, that lights up purple/pink, and it has shiny things in it that sparkle different colors. looks very pretty

I have a white one w/black lava, but it's fucked up.
The lava just sort of lays there in a big clump. It pretty much sucks now.

I have three lava lamps, one a huge one with the little pinholes for light in the base. They are wonderful. My kids dig them too. Got them on eBay.

Tip: NEVER shake your lava lamp.
