I was 10 years old (5th grade). When it happened , and it was because I found a present in my mom's trunk of her car. Then come Christmas morning I found it wraped with a sticker "FROM SANTA" on it.

At a certain age, i think 7 or 8, my parents just stopped trying. They didnt' wrap presents, just left them in the original boxes, and basically answered any present questions by saying it wasn't at the store or whatnot. I thought that it was strange they knew so much about Santa's store, and eventually figured out the truth.

i was like 7 years old i knew my moms handwriting and the presents were labeled in her handwriting and i told her i knew it was her and she was upset and told me not to tell my siblings

i think i was 6. . . My parents were like, "ok fuck it. here are your gifts." but then 6 days after, on my birthday, I got gifts labeled from Santa. I guess my mom and dad fucked up that one.

I think I was like 7 or 8. I don't remember exactly. I just knowI found all my presens up in the attic.

On a related not, when I lived in staten Island we could see the verezano from my sisters and mines bedroom windowin the lovely projt apartment we called home. Well at Christmas my mother would tell me that the red light on top of the bridge was rudolphs nose, and he wouldn't move till I went to sleep. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get to sleep with that kinda pressure resting on your 5 year old shoulders?

I'm not sure how old I was, but I remember going through the closet and finding some sort of clay robot mold thingy that I later got for xmas. I felt really bad ruining the surprise. Later on, Mom would wrap presents for others right in front of me and write "from santa" on them. We still get presents like that. It's just tradition.

my story is similar to feldmans. i found a bunch of presents under my parents bed and i had accidently punctured a hole in the wrapping on one of the presents, christmas morning the present with the hole was marked "from santa" so i put 2 and 2 together. and got 4. haha. no. i guess i was about 8 or so.

this story isnt nearly as devastating as when i found out the tooth fairy wasnt real

6, found Skip-It unwrapped in my parents' room; days later it was wrapped and under the tree.

i played along with it for a few more years tho, i'm the youngest, so i figured i might as well to keep them happy for a few more years.

When i stopped believing it was more of a gradual thing. One year when i was 6 or so i just kind of forgot about him. Then i asked my brother and he told me.

when i was about 6. my two dumbass friends told me and when i asked my mom she was like "i better tell you now honey. your friends are right, santa isnt real." i was shocked.

interestingly enough, i didnt find out about the Easter Bunny until i was 9.

I am Jewish so I never believed in him but there
was a girl in my class who believed in him when she
was in the 6th grade. We kept making fun of her
and told her it was her parents but she insisted
there was. It was really sad.........
