Every weeknight at 2:30am on TVLand. I find it very cathartic to watch the opening credits which prominently feature the world trade center towers, and then get to laugh with this great cop show. I find it kind of a tribute to my fallen brothers.

Barney Miller is great. Since 9/11, whenever the WTC is in a movie, or tv show it immediately catches my eye and I think about just how important it was to NYC and the whole U.S.A.
It's still hard to face that it's gone.

I was on a "Barney Miller" kick for several months before September 11. I taped the shows every day and watched them constantly. But I never even noticed the Twin Towers, until the disaster. On September 12th, I sat down to watch "Barney Miller", just so I could try to think of something funny, for a change. I was absolutely shocked when I saw the opening credits. I didn't even realize the World Trade Center was there; it had never even crossed my mind. But, I still love watching "Barney Miller", one-because I think it is one of the best sitcoms of all time, and two-it is a great tribute to NYC and the NYPD.

Oh, by the way, which one's pinky?

Attn, 12th pct fans: Last night, tvland started the show from the beginning (very 1st episode), and will be running them pretty much in succession. Apparently, the show was originally supposed to focus on Barney's home life as well as at work. Personally, I'm glad they changed their minds. It's kinda cool, however to see how characters progressed. Also, no wtc in the beginning credits...yet. So again..tvland 230am EVERY NIGHT!

I just noticed the Towers flashing on screen as like the second shot in the credits for "Newsradio". It feels right and feels nice.
