What about trolls...being a troll that lived under a bridge would be fun.

A gnome, because they have:
------according to 1st edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons----
+1 constitution for each 3.5 points rolled
*infravision
--in undergroung passages:
*80% chance to detect grade up or down in a passage
*70% chance to detect unsafe walls, ceilings or floors
*60% chance to detect approximate depth underground
*50% chance to determine direction of travel underground
Also: they are Small, so they gain Armor Class and Attack roll bonuses.

3rd edition D&D handbook is in school so I don't have the numbers on hand.

How right you are Sheepy!

'Creepy gnome' terrorises town (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article902014.ece)

A TOWN in South America is living in fear after several sightings of a 'creepy gnome' that locals claim stalks the streets at night.

The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters.

Check out the video! It's great!

Could be a dog? Dogs can walk sideways... can't they?

i always make fun of my chick and say she looks like a gnome. we both get a hearty laugh out of it. she once bought me a pack a gnome gum with some little gnome facts (oh, the play on words) id like to share:

1. gnomes sense of smell is ten times better than humans

2. gnomes sense of direction is as good as a homing pigeons

3. gnomes always bring good luck to their owners

I pick Gnome IF..
A) I don't have to work for Travleocity..What they did to the Elve's union was atrotious.
B) Nobody makes short jokes aimed directly at me..Bud Bundy really took a lot of shit for that on "Marrie With Children" and I would like to maintain my self confidence.
C)I get to have a cock as big as a lawn jockey, only because I think having a gnome sized penis would be very humiliating..
