I just found this on TheOneRing.net. If you care, it's huge!
Slightly off-topic, but seeing as how there's bound to be Dragonlance fans among our readers, we'll pass on Alatar's news from the Tracy Hickman newsletter, which announced "The film rights for Dragonlance HAVE been optioned and that the project is proceeding although we are not able to give any details at this time."
For us fans, how many times have we discussed casting. Who should play the Companions and the villains? What will the Dragons look like? Should it be a Trilogy? Will they do the Twins books? With the success of LOTR, it was only a matter of time, but it's still great to hear.
