Legalize weed

enough already, can anyone give me one good reason why it shouldn't be legal?

now i'm an advocate of many drugs but i understand the health risks involved and why most drugs should be illegal, but not weed.

can anyone give me a reason for weed being illegal, that does not also apply for alcohol?

example, YOU: weed is a drug that alters your mind and can damage your health.

FATTY: alcohol is a drug that alters your mind and damages your health much worse than weed.

i'm trying to find someone that can explain to me in an intelligent way why weed should be illegal. and since that was impossible i'm looking for some ideas from people on the board.

fatty, you know i love to smoke as much as you do and i would love if it was legalized, but i can think of one reason it may not be feasible......

ok, with alcohol, you can test the blood alcohol level of a person and be accurate of what it is at that moment and you can tell someone how many drinks they can have before reaching that limit......

with weed, you can only test to see if it is present in your system (i don't know if they can tell how much) and as we know, weed can stay in your system for up to a month. this would cause many problems in terms of arresting someone for DUI and other such things. and how could they have a limit to how much you can smoke? there are different kinds and strengths of weed and i think this would be an additional issue....

basically, i don't think it will happen and even if they did consider it, the above problems would be hard to sort out. like i said, i wish there weren't any issues, but i've thought this through and that is what i came up with.

I read in an old Maxim article that over 30 Billion are made on pot sales annually in the US, and that the government loses 1.9 Billion in revenue with it NOT being taxed at 6%.

Why not just admit defeat. Pot DOESN'T open gateways to ANYTHING. Those people were gonna use Coke and Heroine anyway!

Nice reasons. I mean are meadia culture sure as hell can't stop it. Look how much Ron and Fez talk about it. In music videos , songs , movies , TV shows. It's everywhere and tons of people do it.
