I just started watching wrestling on thursday nights but having trouble following the story lines....

Can you post a few things regarding a particular wrestler. It will make the show more interested if I knew what the hell is going on.

And The Next Big Thing Brock Lesnar challenges The Rock for the Undipsuted Title this Sunday as well on pay-per-view!

Can you post a few things regarding a particular wrestler. It will make the show more interested if I knew what the hell is going on.Armando, what particular wrestler are you referring to? Be glad to be of assistance.

In relation to WWE not WWF Smackdown! Stephanie McMahon (beautiful daughter of Chairman Vince McMahon) is the head of this portion of the roster while Eric Bischoff (of WCW fame and McMahon's archenemy is on RAW).

The following are a few wrestlers of note on Smackdown!

--Kurt Angle is the nut with the gold medals, red, white and blue outfit who whins constantly during interviews about a myriad of things and gets YOU SUCK chants during his intro/music.

--The trailpark trash twins (you can tell who they are when they step out to the ring or in interviews) are Jamie Knoble, current WWE Cruiserweight Champion and Nidia. She is allegedly trailerpark trash from down South but she's Hispanic. I'm still complaining about it (makes no sense) but Se7en (on the board) still likes it. Should have been Molly Holly with the ghetto booty (right e2r?)!

--Hulk Hogan, you should know who that is.

--D-Von Dudley is the collared dude coming out to peachy music and likes to be known as "Reverend D-Von" and his sidekick is Deacon Batista (known as Leviathan in the indys) who is currently angered at D-Von for screwing him too many a time. A breakup is imminent and a feud seems to occur.

--"The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar is the "Vanilla Gorilla" with his agent Paul Heyman (former owner of ECW, a now-defunct federation). He is going for the WWE World Title against the Rock at Summerslam this Sunday and has destroyed everyone in his path (Hogan, Angle, Undertaker, etc).

--The announcers at the booth are Tazz (formerly ECW World Champion) hailing from "The Red Hook Section of Brooklyn New York" great wrestler but decided to stick to announcing (so sad and he's the oft-times comic relief for the program) and Michael Cole, pasty white guy who is the "staight man" in this equation commenting about the moves, storylines etc.

--The Big Valbowski (formerly Val Venis) was a pornostar from Vegas, allegedly and gyrates constantly for the ladies. He's injured currently. Check other thread on the Wrestling forum to see what happened.

--Chuck (Palumbo) and Billy (Gunn) are the non-Ambiguously Gay Duo that enter the ring to boy band music, are beach blonde and wearing white bathrobes as well as matching red headbands with their names on it. They are accompanied by their stylist Rico (Constantino, former winner on American Gladiators) who has wierd lookin' sideburns.

--"The Canadian Crippler or the Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit is arguably the best wrestler today and will win the WWE Title soon if the federation knows whats good for them. His facial hair is reminiscent to that of a wolverine. His trademark maneuvers are the Flying Headbutt from the toprope and the Crippler crossface. He signals for these moves with the thumb to the the throat.

--"Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero are part of the Guerrero family wrestling tradition. Eddie has more upside and can be a great WWE Intercontinental Champion. His finishing maneuver is the Frog Splash from the top rope.

--Edge is a blonde Canadian with red shiny tights. The brother has a great smile. Too many teeth. Groomed to be a WWE World Champion down the line and is very popular with the lady fans. His finishing maneuevers are the Spear and the Buzzkill (did he change it?)

--"The Hurricane" is the superhero of the WWE. He wears all green and has a cape kinda like the Green Lantern. His finisher is the Eye of the Hurricane.

--John Cena (formerly The Prototype in the indys=independent wrestling promotions) is the Boston native wearing green semi-tights. Doing well for a green rookie with solid mic skills.

--Rey Mysterio is the finest cruiserweight EVER! Wears a mask and has totally changed his look from just a puny lookin wrestler. More buff, more tattoos and has cat eye lenses, very disturbing. His
