I was watching the 10 o'clock news tonight, and well they did a story about a young boy that got shot and killed by a stray bullet.

Now this is tragic, I know, but they were interviewing some people that knew the kid and all of them said "He was a very bright boy, he loved going to school." THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT!!!

Why does EVERY kid that gets accidentally killed always a genius?

This is just something that makes me wonder.

What's something strange that makes you think there's something going on?

Conversely, when they interview the neighbors of accused murderers, rapists, etc. they always seem to say "He was quiet and kept to himself."

I always wonder why things seem to happen in clusters. Last summer it seemed like there was a shark attack every 5 minutes. This year it seems like there's a child being kidnapped every day.

I think the same thing reading Obituaries, and listening to people speak at funerals.

It seems that only Good people die. People that loved life, thier job, and thier family. Bullshit.

It would be VERY refreshing to hear an jilted girlfriend get up to the mic at a funeral and tell everyone how the dead guy had 5 girls around town, VD, a coke habit, and had a lot of troube getting it up later in life.
