It's so controversial, and I often have tough time coming to a conclusion when getting into a discussion about it...any thoughts?

All problems could be solved by combining an abortion clinic with a restaurant.

You could call it "Abortasty!" or "Kentucky Fried Fetus", and the chunks of mutilated baby flesh could be served hundreds of different ways. It'll be valued like veal, and it had the same pampered upbringing...

If you have a partial birth abortion section, it'd be like picking live lobsters out of a tank to eat...the head pops out, you take your pick of the many baby heads, take a hammer, and let the chef take over after you've done the dirty work.

AMB - Abortion is a serious topic that needs discussing.

What sickens me is how women are made to feel bad for having an abortion.

It's a matter of personal choice for them, just as the decision not to have an abortion is a personal choice for others.

But, yeah, aborition jokes should not be posted on this thread.

I feel Abortion is just in the first term but around the second and third term it gets into the area of why should it be ok to stop a fetus's life that is viable to live.

all the fucks who think they have the right to control a women's body should fuck off and sit on it! if a woman gets pregnant and feels that going through with the pregnancy is not an option she would want to take then she should have every right to get an abortion if she wanted to. it's easier to be against abortions when you're a male who has a good paying job.

if men started getting pregnant there would be abortion clinics on every fuckin block. right next to all the fuckin starbucks.

also, if abortion clinics weren't under so much political pressure then the women going to these clinics would have much safer abortions...instead of "quickie-lets suck that thing out already" abortions. for fuckin christ! if you are pro-life against abortions fine! but don't go telling all the girls and women who get raped and become pregnant that they don't have the right to choose what they want to do with what's growing inside their <b>own</b> bodies. don't stand in front of the clinics with your fuckin dead fetus posters and pro-life anti-abortion signs. don't make girls/women feel like a piece of fuckin horseshit just because they don't follow what you preach.

when i was in 9th grade we were discussing this in my global studies class. i don't know how we got into this discussion but my teacher called me a hypocrite for being against capital punishment while being pro-choice. i'm like, "what the fuck you fuckin asshole???" so just because i'm against capital punishment that should mean that i should also be against the killing of embryos and fetuses? yes, it saddens me that embryos and fetuses are being aborted everyday, but getting an abortion should be a woman's own choice. an inmate on death row is not the same as an embryo or fetus inside a women's womb. i know both are practically voiceless and both have no say on their future, but to me they are not the same. being against capital punishment and for women's reproductive freedom seems pretty consistent to me.

i would like to end my post by saying that all girls should fuckin masturbate. your finger won't get you pregnant and if it does, at least it won't run off like a scared cat as soon as you tell it about the pregnancy...unless you decide to chop off your finger.

WHat it all comes down too is if you believe that there is a child alive in the mother. Some people Believe it is alive at the moment of conception, others believe not until it pops out.

Then there is the whole spectrum in between, as adolescentmasturbator mentions, there are diferent views on each trimester.

Sundoggy, to answer your question, imagine someone you know is pregnant, It doesn't matter how (accident, stupidity, rape, etc) and don't look at it as if she is one week away from giving birth or 8 months away

Just stop and think, is it right to prevent this child from being born, then you will have a bottom-line belief.

From there you can add in all the other factors like if it was a rape, or if the girl is only 13, or if she has 3 kids already and cannot financially support the child, or if the kid is going to be a crack baby, or a retard, or borne with an arm coming out his ass... whatever.

There is no absolute, every case is different, so is it right or wrong, sometime yes, sometimes no.

I am sure if there is a universally right answer. IMHO it as the right of the mother to decide. But even if it is it does not mean its always right. This is an issue with far too many variable for a yes or no in my book.
