I think pretty much everyone here wants you back on the show. I want you back on the show. BUT not if you're really in the rut you sound like you are in, or the bender you're on.

The man's gotta get some help, otherwise him just coming back will just set him up for the NEXT fall, which will just be even harder and much more devastating.

So stay away from the show, Billy...for now...go to the mattresses to make things right.

I dread the day that Ron and Fez come on the air and tell us that Billy is dead. I get the feeling that that is what will happen sooner or later. Billy, you seem like a very gentle and brave man. Get help. It is never too late to start over.

Billy does need help. However, the show has supported his endless absences, rehabs and drinking binges. The ADA(American Disabilities Act) requires an employer to offer an addict help but endless help turns into enabling. Billy thinks he can behave this way continuously and if the show does not issue him an ultimatum or get rid of him, he will continue to downslide and hurt himself. He should be given another chance to get his act together or get the boot.

Now that the tape has been played, O&A & R&F have had their chuckles...its time for Billy to stand up and realize that this was nothing but a set-up. He was set up to bomb in front of a merciless O&A crowd that had no intention of letting him do his act. Vos can handle this sort of thing...he does it on a nightly basis. Billy was a deer caught in the headlights and the O&A fans gunned the engine.

That being said...Billy should just look at it as a practical joke that he was the target of and come back to the show. One thing must be said...there have been a lot of lame calls getting through to the R&F show. Billy is obviously a better call screener than whoever is doing it currently and therefore makes the R&F show better by his participation.

C'mon back Billy...it's time.

I'm really starting to think tha TheMojoPin is right on this one.

We ALL want Staples back, but if he just comes back like he always does, he'l relapse again, just like he always does.

I think some Tough Love may be in order. I really wish he could come back and be OK, but I don't see that happening.

It's a sad day when even I see that Billy needs some serious help and changes to fix his problems.
