Re-mixes

My brother-in-law listens to crap like Linkin Park. Though I despise that stuff in it's original form, he played me a re-mix of their only release. It was bad enough the first time, but, what the fuck happened to the guitars? they were the only thing good about the band. It seems to me that from what I've seen from the majority of re-mixes is that it's just another quick cash in requiring no real effort on the "artists" part. And you pay top dollar for the same crap over and over and over...

Must...build...the...pyramid.

It's too bad, because a skillfully done remix is a tning of beauty. Can make a great song great two times over...or more...

Best remixes I've heard are both of the same song, Radiohead's "Climbing Up The Walls"...one by Zero 7, the other by Fila Brazilia...
