well its been 25 yrs since ELVIS'S death...personally i dont really give a hoot...BUT i know there are some crazies out there that STILL think Elvis is walking around out there with the BIGFOOT and the BATBOY!!!!

The man was divine in the eys of his fans....they consider him the greatest entertainer of all time. He's a legend and he's only been dead a quarter of a century...if I was a fanatic I'd probably think he was still alive too. A man of such mythos couldn't possibly die...or maybe it's just hard for them to let go of someone who touched them. Being cynnical about it doesn't make you better than them.

i have no problem about the people..... i guess my main point would be that its kinda surprising that the press isnt going crazy as they did when Elvis was dead after 10 yrs....man i was 6 when (in 1987) i remember seeing footage on the news an on E.T. and like everywhere of peopel balling and lines outside Graceland and whatnot...this was pretty much an observation of this being the Silver Anniversary of his death and no hubbub really...hey give me a break!!! i just got home from work adn i think about random things at times on my 10 min drive home....WHERE IS THE CYNICISM in my post?
