Murderers/Serial Killers

True crime stories are amazing. Why did they do it? What was their motivation? There are so many wild stories on this topic, I was wondering if anyone had one. Here's mine.

When I was a kid, the next door neighbor of a friend was arrested as a serial killer of prostitutes in NYC. His name is Richard Cottingham. He's doing life in prison for murder. He worked for the phone company, but took time off to kill, behead and rape hookers. He looked normal to me.( see the who's who of murderers book for more info)

I always used to watch Unsolved Mysteries to get my fill of those unsolved...mysteries.

Anyway, they are fascinating, and it's scary to see the similarities between a lot of them at times...

They're a SICK bunch. I know A LOT about them, because Death Metal band's LOVE to write lyrics based on their crimes. Dumb Asses. If it happened to YOUR mother, you'd be pissed off that some shitty band made fun of it.

But there is a VERY INTERESTING side to the way they do things, and of course, their motivation.

It's like a Train wreck or Car accident. We MUST LOOK! So we MUST watch these shows. It's out morbid facination with DEATH.
