Class Reunions - would you go?

I was asked a few years ago to go to my grade school reunion by a few people.

My grade school years were the WORST years of my life - comparable to being in prison. When people asked me why I didn't go I'd say, "for what, to reminiscence? Reminiscence what?" I don't even want to be reminded in any way of my grade school years.

But, I guess there are plenty of people that had great times in grade school and high school and like to go to their reunions.

My 10 year college reunion is this October. I'm going.

My 15 year high school reunion is next year but I'm not going to that one. I went to prep school and wasn't really friendly with anyone in that school.

my 5 year high school reunion was last year, and i didnt go. there really werent too many people i was interested to see and, the ones i would want to see werent going.

when the 10 years rolls around, i might hit that, though.

I was actually supposed to help organize our 5-year this summer, but the class president (who is a cunt bitch that I ALWAYS hated) decided I wasn't helping enough (hello, spent a month in the hospital, WHORE) so she CANCELLED it, all by herself. Which is okay since we bought this huge house - we're just going to get "the gang" together for hairy buffalo!! A-whoo hoo!

I went to a Catholic High School, and all of the friends I made there I'm still close with to this day. Most of my other friends went to public, so there's really nobody I'd want to see there.

I've NEVER heard of a Grade School reunion, but I'm not really planning on going to my High School reunion. I may change my mind, but I was not well liked in High School(purprise) and I personally didn't like them either.

I didn't hit my Prom either. High School SUCKED!

I went to my 10 year High School, kind of a waste of time. Plus they held it in the High School gymnasium. Uh, hello, we're not 18 anymore, could you maybe class it up a bit? Crepe paper and silly string isn't exactly captivating decor.

I dont know if anyone notices but, no onbe wants to go there High School reunion. I think it is cause high school is one of the cattiet years of our lives, which translates into nohting more than cliques and rumors. Was there any real value in high school?? (And said thing I teach high school) I mean was hard to see an education value in high school. I got a real education when I went to college, and high school had the core values of educating and hard work I got but that is it. I would rather have a discussion with some of my teachers now than get together with some of these clique people from school. I mean the worst part is it will just be a big ole competition to see who is more succssfulk anyway. And I measure success in terms of happiness and not dollars, although dollars wouldnt hurt...

YEah id go to my high schoiol reunion, just to see what has become of the "cool" crowd probably all living in trailors and knocked up with drunk husbands. And me?....i get to stride in with Trent Reznor(or a close lookalike ) on my arm and engage them with entertaining conversations of my travels all over the world.
