eh...i always wanted a name either ..

A) a name in a song
B) something exotic

my confermation name is bernadette- i chose it cuz there is a song with that name in it

or something like Amarie, Angelina, Francesca, Maria...eh LISA is WAAAY to boring for me!

To GrlNin: I wanted to change my name to Maria, like, my whole life!!! I loved it!!

Now, however, I'll tell you what I think I'd change it to - and I WOULD change it; I DESPISE my first name. I'd change it to Kate. It's nice and anonymous, classy, doesn't have any bad or dated connotations that I am aware of, and sounds so crisp and succinct. Definitely something I'd happily answer to.

My grandmother wanted my parents to name me Kate, actually, but they chose Tina instead, because they *wanted* people to think I was a slurry pornstar before they even met me. Anyone see the Weekend Update where Fey made the joke about there always being at least one Tina in a group of bimbos? Funniest. Skit. Ever.
