SPY REPORT: Battle of the bands lands contestant in legal trouble.

Yours truly has a band Digger Phelps in the Battle of The Bands contest (#5, vote Counter Girl or Waiting For The Palms). Well, apparently the agent/attorney for Richard "Digger" Phelps got wind of us, we believe through the BOTB hype, and we had a real threat of possible pending litigation for a cease and desist order.

It seems as though now the agent/attorney has come to the realization that we mean no malice and wants us to go on ESPN with him.

Things are happenin' people.

pearl jam's original name was mookie blaylock, a basketball player on the nets.

i dont' know about legal action but as far as i know they changed it because they thought it was too goofy. thier first album "ten", was named after mookie blaylock's basketball jersey number.
