View Full Version : RF.Net Roundtable 2: Vampire Werewolves?
Pootertoot

This question came up when Hosp, Fatty and myself made our weekly trip to the bathhouse:
Say a vampire is just strolling down the street, looking for a good time, when out of an alleyway a werewolf pounces on him and bites him.
Does the vampire become a vampire werewolf?
Would, one night out of the month, he turn into a straight werewolf?
Or would he be a vampire werewolf, with all the finesse of a vampire but the raw beast-like nature of a werewolf?
Could he turn into a werewolf bat?
I would think if there was ever to be a vampire werewolf, we'd all be dead.
However, if a vampire bit a werewolf, would the person be a vampire when he stopped being a werewolf? Or would he just be, for one night a month, a werewolf vampire?
And later, just maybe, we'll throw a zombie in the mix.
And while we're on the subject of vampires, it seems that vampire lore says that a vampire can't get you in your house unless you invite him in.
Well, say a vampire delivers a pizza to an apartment building. Would he be able to only kill the guy who buzzed him in? Or would the whole building be fair game?
I figure it'd be the person who buzzed him in and anyone in the hallway.
Hosp, Fatty, feel free to fill in anything I forgot.
Discuss.

oh, a few more questions came to mind just now:
Do female vampires menstruate? If so, can they drink their own pussy blood? Do they choke on clots?
Would a regular vampire prefer pussy blood or regular blood?

Werepires would be a good gang name.
All paranormal investigation should start by seeing what Real Ghostbusters had to say about it. And then maybe AAAH! Real Monsters.
There was an episode of Real Ghostbusters where Jeanine was trying to get Egon to like her, so she had this fairy make her boobs bigger and her legs hotter. But then it turned out it wasn't a fairy but a succubus and it took over Jeanine. But big boobed cartoon Jeanine was still hot.

I watched the episode again and it doesn't answer the werebat question. Werebats would be unstoppable, they could FLY.
I bet they could beat a bear.
Plus it doesn't answer whether or not pussy blood is a choice drink for them. I think they'd consider it like a finely aged wine, and consider the fishy smell its bouquet.

And if Pooter tells you he knows of a place to get a "Happy Ending", be sure to get all of the information before hand.
But you changed what you said about the apartment. I swear I remember you saying you thought once a vampire is invited into the building he had free range of all the apartments. I was the one saying each apartment was a seperate entitiy. And of course, hallways are public space and are up for grabs.
I say it would have to be a Vampire attacking the Werewolf because I don't think the "Undead" physiology of the Vamp would get a reaction from the bite or scratch of the werewolf.
But would the Vamp try to convert the werewolf to a werevamp or just feed off of it.
ANd Yes, I think on the night of the full moon he would be unstopable.

everything jacks it, man or woman. and vampires were once humans, so i think they would still have their humanly urges.
and i would think that menstrual blood would be more nutritious. and as far as the clots go, vampires have teeth, they can chew like everyone else.

Werewolves suffer from the disease Lycanthropy, they are Lycanthropes. Since Vampires are undead and immune to all disease, I would assume that the bite would have no effect.

Say a vampire is just strolling down the street, looking for a good time, when out of an alleyway a werewolf pounces on him and bites him.
Does the vampire become a vampire werewolf?
To answer your question, the vampire does not become a werewolf.
In reality, a werewolf would never bite a vampire in the first place, because it would already realize that it wasn't a human. Most werewolves usually attack humans, probably cause they taste better and so they can make more werewolf friends.
But for argument's sake let's say the werewolf did bite the vampire when it encountered the vampire in a dark alley. I say nothing happens to the vampire, besides it just getting annoyed that someone else is doing the biting. I base this on my evil dominance theory. Being a vampire, you're evil every night. Sure you're sleeping during the day, but at night, every night, you're super evil. You're killing people all the time and drinking blood and just being evil all the time. A werewolf, on the other hand, is only violent and evil for that one full moon a month. You could live a perfectly normal life being a werewolf, as long as you locked yourself up or took a day off on that full moon day every month.
Being that a vampire is already more evil than a werewolf, the evilness of the vampire would dominate over the only monthly evilness of a werewolf..because it's already made the person more evil than a werewolf bite would have. However, it's probably possible that during the full moon the vampire would be a little more agitated. But it is the recessive gene, so I say the vampireness would block out any mutation into a werewolf.
Would he turn into a werewolf bat?
I don't think it would be a werewolf bat, but more like an agitated vampire bat.
However, if a vampire bit a werewolf, would the person be a vampire when he stopped being a werewolf? Or would he just be, for one night a month, a werewolf vampire?
Now again, I don't see vampires attacking werewolves, because one would think that the vampire wouldn't want to get all that hair in it's teeth. Plus werewolf blood probably tastes tainted. In this case, I see the werewolfness of the person staying universal every month.so the werewolf is still going to turn into one every month. Now since the vampire evilness is so strong, it would make the person a vampire during the rest of the time, and yes, you would in fact have a vampire-werewolf hybrid for one day every month. What's most exciting about that is that the vampire would be able to walk around in sunlight as well as a night, which would make it an even stronger vampire.
See, normally I would agree with you and say that only the person who buzzed him in would be fair game.
But then again, if you invite a vampire into your house, and you live with, say, 3 other people, he would still be able to enter your room according to vampire legend. That means that if you're living in a room/apart Within a house/building, as long as one person says welcome, the vampire can go anywhere in the building, and into any apartment.
There may be a clause in vampire lore that says you're safe as long as you don't share a bathroom or kitchen, but I haven't heard of one. So that's why I think if one person invites the vampire into the building, everyone is doomed.
What's scary though is this little tidbit though, which would doom you anyway. If on the sign of a school or library, it says welcome or come in, that satisfies the requirement of inviting the vampire into your house. So not only would the person who invited him in be fair game, along with anyone in the ha

Does just buzzing him in count as an invitation? I always thought it was the man of the house has to invite a vampire into the house. What if the kids ordered the pizza when mom and dad are out? I'm not sure it would be smart for a pizza place, to hire a vampire as a delivery boy.

I think Tall James needs to find us another email address, for the only man who could really answer this question is . . . Lou Diamond Phillips, star of the documentary series "Wolf Lake
I don't think you guys are taking this thread as seriously as you should be.
And second
A werewolf, on the other hand, is only violent and evil for that one full moon a month. You could live a perfectly normal life being a werewolf, as long as you locked yourself up or took a day off on that full moon day every month.
A werewolf can turn into a werewolf anytime he chooses, the full moon is the only time he has to succumb to the affliction. On top of that, a majority of the time the side effect of insanity accompanies the disease, making the Lycanthrope that much more dangerous. An human who is already evil will become that much more so when under the power of the beast.

That's crazytalk! So they can just decide arbitrarily that they want to become a vampire now? No other monster gets to do that, I don't think they should be allowed. You don't see Dracula going "You know, I think I'd like to hit the beach today..."
It's called dedication, and if you're going to be a netherbeast, it's a full time job.
Werewolves, as far as I've known them, are pretty much big dumb wolves. Would a werepire be a big dumb vampire wolf, or a smart vampire werewolf, like the kind that would wear a smoking jacket?

'Teen Wolf' is a movie. I'm talking about legitimate scientific research here. And Pootertoot if someone evil becomes a werewolf, do you think they're only gonna take advantage of that once a month? C'mon that's crazy talk. They're gonna be out there every night chompin' on somebody.

i don't think it's a point of taking advantage of it. you can only become a werewolf during a full moon, that's just the rules. a vampire can't just walk around during the day because he feels like being evil during the day, he's only allowed to go out at night. same thing with a werewolf, he can't chose to go out without a full moon because he wants to, he has no control over it.
However, if a vampire bit a werewolf, would the person be a vampire when he stopped being a werewolf? Or would he just be, for one night a month, a werewolf vampire?
i've been giving this a lot of thought and i think he would not still be a vampire after being a wolf. my conclusion comes from the fact that a werewolf can only be harmed by silver bullets, therefofe it would not have any effect on the wolf. also, anything that happens to the werewolf becomes null and void when he becomes a human, that's just how it works.

I don't know where you get your data from, Fatty, but my research shows that a werewolf can transform at will, except for the on full moon when he must transform. You should go back and check your sources.

My sources are made up of eyewitness accounts, and the White Wolf publication, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, the definitive work on the subject. A majority of my first hand sources are tied up in a scientific bureaucracy type of situation, and many more didn't want their names revealed. I can however reveal to you of a couple of the people I have personally interviewed and give you my notes of said interviews. I was given special dispensation to enter the Eastern Bloc to conduct some of my research.
6/9/1971 - B. Badenoff - Kiev, U.S.S.R. - I vas heer at time ov attack (tape gets fuzzy) Moose and Skvirl. Eet vos night, no moon.
8/25/1986 - G. Shumway - Location not recorded - Yeah, I was right here, and I turned around to get Willy, and I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I remember I was looking up at Melmac, there was no moon that night.
11/5/1993 - F. Flav - Queens, N.Y. - Yeeeeeeah boy! We was sittin here waitin' for five oh to show dey asses up. Mah boy just got hit by some crazy werewolf lookin' mahfucker. It was dark as shit on that corner, no moon. I couldn't even see mah big ass clock. We mussah bin waitin' a hour. Man, 911 is a joke.
As you can see by these documented interviews. Werewolves can obviously transform and attack at any time.

Is a werewolf vulnerable to ALL silver, or just a silver bullet? And if it's all silver, is it just in a certain place like through the heart? Or anywhere? Because if it's anywhere and a silver bullet, a werewolf is a pussy.

Firstly lets dismiss this whole "werebat" nonsese right from the get go. Vampires haven't turned into bats since the early to mid 80's. I believe the last known incident of a vampire turning into a bat was shown in the historical footage taken by "The Monster Squad" And a we all know, thanks to bravery of one little girl, that vampire, along with Frankensteins monster, was sucked into a portal that was essentially a rip in time itself.
Now onto the more relevant issue of vampwolfs and werepires. I must agree with fatty in that a vampires bite would have no effect on a werewolf since a werewolf is only vulnerable to silver. And logically the same would hold true for a vampire bit by a werewolf, since a vampire is only vulnerable to stake through the heart, sunlight, beheading, and silver. The more serious threat would be vampires and werewolfs joing forces. Clearly the vampires would use the werewolves as muscle, much like the Jews have been using the black as muscle for years in there attempt to form a zionest state, but I digress, thats a topic for a different roundtable.

I'm sorry, but werewolves are no fun unlss they're only able to transform in a full moon. A guy who can turn into a wolf at will is a superhero, like Manimal, A werewolf is just some guy who has a really bad male version of the period.
I honestly believe that turning into a bat is a vampire's favorite part of being a vampire. You have the power of flight AND an amazing disguise! The question is whether or not a vampire werewolf would have enough control over itself to know to turn into a werewolf...
As I've known them in the past, werewolfs are just very large, semisentient wolves...what exactly are they after? Vampires need blood, Mummies revenge curses, Frankenstein's monster kills little girls for kicks...what are werewolves after? If left to their own devices, would they just howl at the moon, hunt rabbits, and fuck other werewolves?
