rosemary's baby is a damn fine film but i don't think i would consider it a thriller.

do you know what it takes for a movie to be considered a "thriller"? according to afi?

Heckler, i loved the matrix just as much as any other person, but It has to give way to the classics! It was a good action/sci-fi movie but you have to take into consideration that Keanu Reeves was the star.

As for the AFI top 100 thrilling movies of all time, I think it felt like it was a list of the greatest movies of all time PERIOD. I haven't seen all of these movies, but some of them were just amazing. I have a lot of renting to do this summer.

WHere the hell is Friday the 13th and Halloween, and Hellraiser, and Childs play?

Yes all there sequals sucked, but the orginals are classics.

And I don't care what anyone says, When I saw Scream for the first time I was at the edge of my seat the whole movie.

I was the same way with Groundhog Day...c'mon they put Psycho on there but ignore a Bill Murray classic? *sigh*

"The Matrix" is a classic, and the only reason it was #66 is because a bunch of old farts voted.
BTW, where was "Tron"? LOL

I thought Matrix wasn't that thrilling. The original Halloween WAS on the list. Someone on OA.com mentioned that Se7en should be on it (TOTALLY!) and that Dr. Strangelove deserves to be on it (it does).

I felt that Good, The bad and the ugly definitely had a place on it.

As for comparing it to other lists this is probably their best list yet. These top 100 are better than the original top 100 movies of all time.
