i really like ben kweller. he's a really talented guy. i saw him perform on carson daly's show.. it was great he did like 2 songs. it's so cute, he looks like he's about 12 but he can rock out. they've started playing "wasted and ready" on the radio, and i guess on mtv2, too.

he's actually playing a show pretty soon, i think.. i'll edit this once i look it up...

EDIT: he is playing at the bowery ballroom on 8/17, but unfortunately it's sold out. sorry, kids

He was the teenage lead singer of the band Radish who i remember from a couple of years ago not from their music but the fact that they were given a 1 million dollar advance from their record company, enough to make Request Magazine write an artice about it. He and A.M. radio were with Weezer on The Enlightment Tour a while back prompting Rivers Cuomo to sign A.M. Radio to his new label-Blue Records.

I remember Radish. When Hanson got popular, the record companies instantly thought teen bands would be all the rage, and they really pushed Radish. Of course, they never really got any airplay and only really performed on The Weird Al Show.


And you have to appreciate the fact that he practices good oral hygene.
