Much maligned in their day(basically early 80's to early 90's) these were the biggest shows in NYC punk/hardcore/thrash history. They started at the old Rock Hotel on Jane Street moved to the Ritz(now Webster Hall) then to the new Ritz(Studio 54). Plus various other one-off shows. They were promoted by the much reviled Chris Williamson. This was the true beginning of the hardcore/metal "crossover" in NYC. Bands like Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., C.O.C., and so many others tore these shows up! I have many great memories of these times.
