NO, Buffalo wing is NOT a new member you've never heard of...I don't think.
Well, if he of she is, then I'm NOT talking about YOU.
I'm talking about BUFFALO WINGS!! CHRIST on a CRACKER these things RULE!
I LOVE 'EM crispy, and a little hot, with PLENTY of Blue Cheese sauce! That celery is useless, so shove it up your ass! It's taking up room where you could have put another couple of wings on the plate! I think that Outback Steakhouse has made me the BEST wings I've ever tasted.
Any opinions? Are you pro or anti WING? Where are your favorite wings from?

Hooter's has some good ones. I also like to buy them frozen from the grocery store so I can dump as much bleu cheese on 'em as I wish. I like them crispy or soggy.

Question: Think of this....It may drive you mad.....Why is it that the smaller the buffalo wing the better the taste? The answer is actually quite logical.....sadly it took me years to figure this out.

i absolutely love wings. there's nothing better when you're hanging at a bar and had a coupe drinks... yummy. maybe the best ones i've had were at down the hatch in the village... they have a million different kinds, varying in hotness. a friend of mine ordered the hottest ones they had, one time, and he drank 5 beers just to get through half of them and not seem like a pussy. the bars really should have thought of that.. they could make a lot of money selling drinks that way

Yummmmmm I love buffalo wings! Kens Steakhouse Blue Cheese dressing is the best to have if you make them at home. And I actually like the celery, i think it compliments the wings quite well...a nice, cool refresher when your mouth is on fire.
Dan makes the best wings, yall should come over sometime.

Moe, I know you're in the area and if you want great wings, go to Pat's Pizza in Pompton Lakes. It's right on Colfax Ave, across from Jimmy the Shoe Doctor. His pizza is relatively shitty, and is pasta and sammitches are the same, but he puts some kind of coating on those wings and, man, are they good.

Wings are the best. I used to get great wings at many different places in Rochester, NY, where I went to college. Some places that stick out were The Distillery, Norton's and Country Sweet Chicken and Ribs.
Buffalo wing pizza is top shelf too.

NOW I'M STARVIN!! I love wings...Texas has great wings.
I don't put any dressing on mine, I just eat them plain, nice and hot and crispy. Sometimes I will actually fry them. And Moe, the celery is great when they are super hot. These aren't real wings, but the Chilis boneless buffalo wings are pretty tasty. All the good places I know of are not up north, except Chuck's in Princeton. Those are what started my wing obsession.

It's well worth the squirts!
And thanks Blakjeezis, I'll try that place out. But how do you KNOW I'm in that area? Is that YOU in the van across the street from my house?
And I guess I should have admitted that I just HATE celery! If I liked it, I guess I might find it refreshing in between wings.
And in other news, YOU ALL FUCKED ME! Now that you've told me about these mouth watering wings wround the country, I have to go on a Wing Road Trip! Thanks a pantload.

I would have to agree with Arienette. Down The Hatch has the best wings! They are supplied by a company called Atomic Wings. Atomic Wings distributes to three other places in the city, but Down The Hatch is the best!

somewhat "anti-wing"
a bit messy and a bit of a tedious process to eat...
not enough meat...
Fridays has a boneless wing which allows you to just take a nice chomp without "biting bone"

Make your own...
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3/4 pound chicken pieces (3-4 thighs)
2 tablespoons Creole seasoning
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oil, for frying chicken
1/2 cup chicken wing sauce, ready-made
OR
3 ounces hot sauce
6 tablespoons butter -- melted
1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
4 ounces mozzarella cheese -- shredded
3 tablespoons blue cheese -- crumbled
1 medium pizza crust
Mix flour and Cajun seasoning (I use Emeril's Essence) in a plastic bag. Put
chicken pieces in the bag (1 or 2 at a time) and shake until coated with flour
mix. Heat oil in a fry pan. Add chicken and cook, turning occasionally, for
about 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Remove chicken and allow to cool enough to handle. Chop chicken into pieces
about 1/2" in diameter. Shake approximately 2 teaspoons of hot sauce onto the
chicken (or to taste).
Spread pizza dough onto greased pan, about 14" diameter. Mix chicken wing sauce
with blue cheese dressing. Spread the sauce mixture onto the pizza dough.
Spread the pieces of chicken onto top of the sauce. Sprinkle shredded
mozzarella over the chicken. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese on to of the
mozzarella.
Bake at 425 F for about 20 minutes, or until cheese is lightly browned.

Wings are great. Gotta put some Blair's Death on those suckers too!
I usually don't go for the bleu cheese, though. Just a side of hot sauce for extra dipping.
Now I have to go get some for dinner tonight, DAMMIT!
