It's more common than you'd think.

wow, that's pathetic...
of course, when i saw bright eyes play a month or two back, i was right up at the stage, and i caught conor's eye and he was looking right at me for a few seconds. clearly, he was singing directly to me and no one else, until he looked away...
hah, losers

i saw gov't mule a few years back at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, and i had really long hair back then. i was also probably the youngest in the crowd, and i had made my way to the front. i guess they were kinda chuckling about the long haired kid in the front between songs, cause for the encore, Warren Haynes kinda smirked at me, then busted into "almost cut my hair" by CSNY

I was in the front for Cannibal Corpse one show, and got scared that the lead singer was talking about ME when he was describing how he would kill me, molest my dead body, and leave my corpse to putrify in the sun.

I'm bringing this one back just for Heckler's benefit.I think he was A.W.O.L a couple of weeks ago and I don't think he saw it.

I went a long way for this joke.To tell you the truth,I expected total harassment.Got some positive responses instead.Go figure.

I once saw Blondie from the front row. During "In The Flesh" Debbie Harry, my Rock Goddess, was staring at me the entire song.
I had an Al Dukes moment..I creamed like Mr. Softee.
