I just saw a commercial where Kelly Rippa complains about water's lack of pizazz.
Apparently, water doesn't satisfy her lust for life. Although it is the FIRST thirst-quencher, essential to life as we know it, Ms. Ripa offers a NEW water, one that bursts with flavorful zest, one that will, one assumes, eventually fill our oceans, replacing its inferior forebearer.
WATER IS DEAD! LONG LIVE WATER 2!
All this hubub has got me thinking...has water gone the way of the dinosaurs?
I mean, the past few years, it has really been hanging by a thread, nowhere near as innovative as, say, back in the Ice Ages. When was the last time water made you want to do something extreme, like hijack a spaceship and use it like a skateboard? And water has as many electrolytes as Haley Joel Osment has pubes. Movies like "Waterworld" just prove to me it is past its prime.
So who's with me in overthrowing the water overlords and replacing it?
I know Kelly Ripa is.
