Life's Little Lessons

I've only been on the earth for 23 and a half years but I've learned a lot in my short little life...
I thought this might be a good chance for you all to post some lessons that you have learned over your lifetime that always hold true.

I'll start ya off.

1. I have yet to meet a good female driver.
2. No matter what...Don't Im Ron what you are actually thinking.
3. Keep your glove in front of your face when catching a softball.
4. If you play bass...have a backup plan.

Just cause some attains legal maturity under the state, does not mean they are mentally mature

Careful if you write something about relationship troubles on an open forum somewhere, it may be used against you in real life...

Be sympathetic to that friend that cant buy the round, someday the roles may be reversed...

No matter how long it takes, always obtain your goals. For as the old saying goes better late than never ...

NEVER, and I repeat NEVER cut and paste a person's family member onto the naked body of another person. Not trying to joke with this one, am sympathetic to the plight on this one. And understand the rage follwing it...

An education is the best tool that anyone could ever obtain, allows freedom that you can not obtain without it...However, never forget your roots and how some people were not as fortunate as you are. There is education to be had from institutions and there is the education of life...

If you have liberal ideals at 20 you are normal, if you have the same ideals at 40 you are educated...

Talk to older generation people, they have wisdom about the simplest of things that you may not have of realized. And can connect you to a destiny you have not realized. They will be gone someday soon, cherish there knowledge...

No matter how good a relationship may seem, dont neglect or hurt friends while with someone. Relationships come and go, friendship last forever and will be with you through all the motions...

Love even in the most desparate of times, and during the simplest of times. You never know when it will, or someone, will be gone...

If you must quit a job, grow some intestinal fortitude and face the employer face to face...you never know when ya need a reference...

Im sorry if I got a little long winded on these, but these are some of the lessons that I have obtained over the years...I feel wisened, yet I require much more...someone out there understands...

Lessons from my Kindergarten class
1: once a kid learns the F-word from home, avoid saying any word starting with the letter "F" cause he'll immediately blame you for saying "fuck"
2: NEVER open the door to the childrens bathroom as at least one will inevitably forget to flush
3: NEVER let a Kindergartener put on their own Sunscreen, even if they SWEAR they can do it themselves. They WILL look either like a Smurf or a Glue Monster depending on the color of their Suncreen.
4: Always keep your face a safe distance away from the kids with lisps. The spit will fly.
5: Parents can be a lot less smarter than their own children.

Dont pick, just enjoy...

Dont work a job that makes you miserable. And if you do the latter dont complain to your friends how bad it is...you make your own choices in life, dont take it out on your friends.

Be happy with what you do, it isnt the fact that you make 1million a year, just be happy that you enjoy doing what you do. (I love teaching, ask Ariennette)

Prices will go up, but rememer that these are realistic times and that everything will go up (who here remembers the gas surplus of early 99 when gas was 89 cents upstate a gallon)

An ex is an ex for a reason, dont call them for a booty call, will hurt you both later on, both emotionally and physically...

Enjoy life people, you only get one...

grlNIN, I actually got pink eye from this kid who yells everytime he talks. I crouch down next to him and explain at eye level that we could all hear him just fine with an inside voice...well he threw a couple "B" and "P" words at me and I was inundated with germ spit...and the next day...pink eye.
By the way...another Life Lesson...implicit trust means to have even more forgiveness
