I am at work today and I answer the phone and some telemarketer calls me using the name "Fez Whatley". I am stunned as this person is pitching me his BS about his product and I stopped him in mid stride saying "Is this Fez Marie Whatley from Pinellas Park, Florida??". The marketer froze in mid sentance and I told them that he was using the name of a radio host here in NY. And I am sure that he wouldnt be happy if he knew you were using that name...I told not only am I not going to buy your product but I am going to report your company to the BBB (Better Buisness Bureau) for using false names as well...I couldnt fucking believe that happened!!

When I asked the guy if he had a fiancee in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada, I could hear where he almost shit himself...there was definetly a pause before I gave him the riot act...My boss thought I was being rude to a client, when I explained he was cool with it...mainly cause it was a telemarketer...but nonetheless cool

How about you all join the Do Not Call registry and report all the calls you get thereafter? It's like a $5000 fine for each call I think. My boryfriend just totally busted someone. It took him hours and I could relate the entire saga elsewhere but it can be done.

Sounds to me like the guy was trying to have a little fun with a shitty job. If I had a job where I didnt want to use my name Im sure Id pick the name of somebody obscure that I was a fan of.
