When I was 18 my friend and I were hanging out on St. Marks Place in the village when out of nowhere my "Goddess" Debbie Harry walked by.
We decided to follow her, we must have walked 10 blocks until she disappeared into an apartment building.
I still think about that to this day, wishing I had at least said hello. I met her at Max's a few years later, I told her how I "stalked" her.
She just laughed at me.
Damn, I loved her!

In '89, my best friend, her boyfriend, and I went to see The Replacements in Kingston, NY. As I was getting out of the car, I heard my best friend say my name. Just as I looked up, I saw Tommy Stinson and Slim Dunlop walk by. We followed them. Tommy kept looking back nervously until they slipped into the back of the venue they were playing at.

Ahh, memories.

The closest I ever got to a rock star was when I got an autograph from Brian Wilson.

No, it was at a theatre, but I can't remember the name of it. It was an awesome show.
