Patchouli...

I was at a play recently,
and was sitting next to a woman wearing 'patchouli oil'.

HOLY COW! I almost passed out, it was so strong!! AWFUL!

I have my own ' scent'
preferences, so this is not a judgment call..except that those who wear this strong oil, have NO idea how strong it is! I was only seated next to her, and I left smelling of the same icky-ness..
Yuck!

i like the new DKNY, it has a refreshing, slightly citrus scent

not too strong either... very enjoyable for yourself and others.

i used to date a guy who wore patchouli. he was a great guy, too, but DAMN... that stuff is just too damn strong

i like some colognes on men, but it has to be very, very faint. i dont wear any perfume... too many different scents, with the hair and all

The 1st time I caught a wiff of patchouli, I didn't like it. BUt now, I LOVE IT! I never bought the oil, but I burn the insence all the time! Great scent.

And since my partner in EVIL Death Metal Fuzzybutt wears it, that makes it METAL!!!!

Oh! Don't worry Quinn! See, a little patchouli goes a L-O-N-G way. Some people don't realize that. And it's also too strong to wear in the summer, unless you use a tiny, tiny bit.

I do agree with you-- patchouli can be overpowering. But the absolute WORST is when someone uses it in lieu of bathing. Stinky hippies.

So no worries, mate!
