I thought it was good, but the first powers will be the best. It turned from being a spoof on modern times (powers 1) and other spy plots (powers 2) to just getting the cheap laughs. It coulda been much better, but the Cameos are hilarous, probably some of the funniest stuff is in this movie, but overall, Powers 1 was the best.

Ive seen 1 and 2 in the theater, and I feel obligated to see this one too. Even thoughI dont think its gonna be that good, Ill see it anyway, its cant be worse than the 2nd.

personally...i am not a fan of austin powers...but the guy i am seeing was so syked bout goin wit me to see it last nite on openin nite to see it. Well by 6 every show was sold out.... :( guess we will go next weekend.

I thought it was pretty funny, with some very slow parts (Austin Powers 1 was pretty bad about that, too, watch it again) and I'll probably end up enjoying it as much as I did the other two when I watch it again.

A few problems with it:

1) Not ENOUGH Goldmember. I really, really thought this new character was great, except:
2) Mike Myers rehashed an old bit, where Goldmember would quote a band and then be forced to say the name of the band, OCD-like. He did this on SNL as the Canadian Prime Minister, don't ask me why. It wasn't funny then, it's not funny now.

The thing about these movies is the same as with the Jerky Boys. It's not that funny at first, but it grows on you. You see it in the theatres and you're like, "Uuuuh, I guess it was funny, I chuckled a couple times, but I wasn't rolling or anything." After a week or so and everyone's seen it, you start talking about it and doing the funny bits from the movie and laughing and it snowballs. The next time you see it, you're holding your sides 'cause they hurt you're laughing so much. At least that's been my experience.

I saw it last night. It had some funny re-hashed bits and one-liners. They pretty much dispensed with a plot, the movie being little more than a desperate attempt to work in jokes from the last two movies in a slightly different form. Any one of us could have written this piece of crap.

I'm glad that i dont go too the movies that much now a days.When it comes to movies im very picky about what i watch.

I prefer to watch movies that dont have any hype,because i wont look at it as a wast of time if its no good!

it was funny but not as good as the first two.

i think if they make a fourth one, it would be overkill.

any more sequels would kill the franchise.

I like the fact that Scott looked like Ron Howard when he lost his hair. But Clint Howard was in it again, so they couldn't do a Ron Howard joke.

i saw it yesturday.it was great. but if they do try to make a 4th it wont be that good because in this one they killed everything that was funny about the first three. Fat basards is not fat anymore dr-evil and mini me become good. scott becomes evil
