Belgian monks kicked my ass

Last night I had two glasses of wine. Not out of reason for me during the week. Then I had a Leffe Blond-- a fine brew made by Belgian monks who fast. Hmmm, well if I was a monk who had to fast and I made beer, I'd make sure that brew was chock full of barly and hop goodness.

This morning I had my ass handed to me on a platter. WoW! I'm NO light weight when it comes to beer consumption, but WoW!

It's probably because you mixed two types of alcohol. Whenever I go from beer to liquor or vice versa, I feel it in the morning. But sticking with one form all night, I'll wake up fine.

Try the Leffe Blond by itself and see if it makes a difference.

i've tried cherry, raspberry and peach flavored beer from Belgium. don't remember the name, but it was at jeckle and hyde's once. very yummy. it was also very expensive, but, dammit, I'm worth it!!
