I think this is Old School but mods, you can move it to Off-Topic if it makes more sense. I was just talking to sour kitty and she was mentioning that she is taking her driver test soon so I mentioned my experience with my test.

It all started on a rainy day in late November. So I thought, God must be telling me something. I'm gonna fail I thought automatically. When I got there we (myself and my driving instructor) had to line up behind other cars. As we kept moving foward in what seemed like forever we saw some people celebrating and others visibly crying as the rain pelted them from above. The majority of those who failed had this certain female examiner so I was "wishin, hoping and praying" I didn't end up with her. I was getting really unnerved at this point. Finally, I got my chance and that very lady approached my car but another examiner said that it was his turn. I breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn't her. It was a man that looked remarkably like Super Dave Osborne. When he got my permit he joked around with my last name.

E: Hey is your last name really, Reloj?
J: Yes, why.
E: Isnt it's Spanish for clock or watch right?
J: Yeah, why?
E: Just have to verify the information is all. I took Spanish in my heyday. *Passes me my permit back*
E: OK, Reloj, Pull Out (insert joke if need be) cuz its TIME my friend to see if THE CLOCK tolls for thee! *he cracks up as I laugh as well to ease the tension of the moment*
J: You look alot like Super Dave, by the way.
E: I get that alot but I don't see it. *laughs harder as I pull out*

Well to make a long story short I passed the test easily, first try as well and only deducted two or three points because I didn't give an extra look when I went to make a left turn.

Oh yeah sour kitty, again, overexaggerate your looks and stops for the examiner, always a good thing to do. Acting is what got me through it.

For the most part, I was in the lucky minority that got a great examiner, what about the rest of you guys?

Didn't Reloj hang out with Johnny Quest?

My driving test was uneventful. I aced it.
I was fortunate that the test was in Bethpage, LI.
The side streets are wide, and empty.
